The Keylogger IN Your Computer IS Telling All Your Business – Read This,

Read This if you’ve recently purchased a new computer – Then take a deep breath..

The real life implications of this are plain: Computer manufacturers appear to be cooperating with the Department of Homeland Security to make every person who buys a new computer subject to immediate, unrestricted government recording of everything they do on those computers! EVERYTHING !

This information can be sent to DHS, online, without your knowledge or consent, without a search warrant or even probable cause! That’s why this device is hard-wired directly into the ethernet card, which communicates over the internet!

And now I expect that you are a little bit more interested, right ?

Remember The Trojans ?

welllll, guess what – They caused havoc with Bluehost.com security and caused them to have to rework their security and sign in policies; without any advanced notice to their 1,000,000 users and account holders. because the trojan stole everyones’ sign in data from the ftp servers. yeppper..

Well Read On -

Yesterday I mentioned that Bluehost.com had some major security changes this past weekend. suddenly early sunday morning they changed the security protocols for sign in for all accounts.  This was done without any notice to users; because they are trying to catch a rat.

You see the FTP access was being keylogged and the passwords stolen. This was how my account was hacked last year.  We fixed that by adding a little sugar to tank;  so to say.  When you look at a large hosting company like Bluehost who hosts hundred of thousands of accounts; you can imagine what a big problem it was.

The hacker knew that these new keyloggers could be spun and busted. That was their entrance to the server farm – wordpress blogs.  Build a blog; Then  Implant a Trojan.  Then to spread it, you join a social network like entrecard and BOOM.  Do we hold the DOHS At Fault for This ? or the Computer Manufacturers ?  and what about the techs who work for ATT , who know that these bypasses can be activated ?  are they stealing data from us as well ?

The Bluehost.com Chief of Security made a decision to clean up the problem with harder security rules for passwords. this means anyone who utilizes a cracker will be spotted; because it will cause the script to trigger a write instead of a reload.  very smart indeed.  I found that out on sunday night when I spoke with Matt – My Friendly Bluehost.com Tech Support Person.

I related to him the story of the trojans that were striking lots of members of entrecard. He laughed because it was exactly this same trojan that caused the head of security at Bluehost.com to immediately up the ante’.

My Friends, This is why I keep telling you that Trojans are very dangerous. the things they are doing on the backside of your blog would make you want to shoot your computer.  can you imagine the mind of a person who takes their genius to create such a monster ?  they not only destroy your blog; possibly your computer; but also the hosting companys’ servers.

That My Friends Is Mad Wack..

the rooted software packages caused this trojan to travel quite freely when upgrades were done; and installs. the problem was that eventually the trojan wasn’t satisfied with just users data – it wanted data from the technical staff. that’s when it was spotted.  it had migrated through their system to noticable levels. that means that probably every box was touched. wow..

Most users won’t ever realize what happened, because Bluehost has no intention of ever talking about it. thats’ what smart companies do. They learn from these types of attacks; and use them for battle preparedness against the next invasion.  But I do hope that they’ve added some security patches for wordpress; to prevent these types of trojans from so easily embedding themselves into the mysql databases, and then migrating system wide.

Being a Tech, I can completely understand if you want to have your  new computer checked out. Just make sure that when the technician opens it up – you are standing there with a camera to take a photo; and also have the picture at hand,  so that you can identify the parts for yourself.  This is one of our chief reasons for getting that certification in hardware; after our certifications in software and networking. It pays to know what’s under the hood;  so you know who’s really driving the car.

This Should be Our Wake Up Call,

below this is the whole story from Current.com. the site where it originally existed is difficult to reach due to high traffic. I suspect the government is jamming their traffic since the story went up.

Please  share it and make sure to save a copy, as it’s bound to disappear as quickly as you are reading it. we plan to hardcopy print a copy and put it on a cd for later reference.

This is the original story to prove my point The KeyLogger business is real,.

CLICK HERE to Look up KeyGhost on Google.

The US government has been admitting to spying on US citizens using the massive AT&T servers to log and record EVERY email that is sent in this country and listening to any phone calls that might interest them, are you so gullible that you really think the industry that makes computers couldn’t be forced to build in these devices ?

Government and computer manufacturers caught installing hard-wired keystroke loggers into all new laptops!

Since posting this article, there has been overwhelming attempts to disprove this threat to our privacy. To the extent that I had to rename the link to avoid so many hits. To me, any attempt so massive designed to turn a credible story into a so called hoax is pretty convincing evidence that someone out there doesn’t want the truth to be known. To all people attempting to destroy this story’s credibility, it is possible to do this, and it is being done.

The KeyLogger business is real, Look up KeyGhost on Google.. The US government has been admitting to spying on US citizens using the massive AT&T servers to log and record EVERY email that is sent in this country and listening to any phone calls that might interest them, are you so gullible that you really think the industry that makes computers couldn’t be forced to build in these devices ? Think for yourselves people. Do not trust a government that blatantly admits to violating the laws that provide your right to privacy.

Devices capture everything you ever type, then can send it via your ethernet card to the Dept. of Homeland Security without your knowledge, consent or a search warrant each time you log onto the internet!

I was opening up my almost brand new laptop, to replace a broken PCMCIA slot riser on the motherboard. As soon as I got the keyboard off, I noticed a small cable running from the keyboard connection underneath a piece of metal protecting the motherboard.

I figured “No Big Deal”, and continued with the dissasembly. But when I got the metal panels off, I saw a small white heatshink-wrapped package. Being ever-curious, I sliced the heatshrink open. I found a little circuit board inside.

Being an EE by trade, this piqued my curiosity considerably. On one side of the board, one Atmel AT45D041A  four megabit Flash memory chip.

On the other side, one Microchip Technology PIC16F876  Programmable Interrupt Controller, along with a little Fairchild Semiconductor CD4066BCM  quad bilateral switch.

Looking further, I saw that the other end of the cable was connected to the integrated ethernet board.

What could this mean? I called the manufacturer’s tech support about it, and they said, and I quote, “The intregrated service tag identifier is there for assisting customers in the event of lost or misplaced personal information.” He then hung up.

A little more research, and I found that that board spliced in between the keyboard and the ethernet chip is little more than a Keyghost hardware keylogger .

The reasons a computer manufacturer would put this in their laptops can only be left up to your imagination. It would be very impractical to hand-anylze the logs, and very CPU-intensive to do so on a computer for every person that purchased a laptop. Why are these keyloggers here?

I recently almost found out.

I called the police, as having a keylogger unknown to me in my laptop is a serious offense. They told me to call the Department of Homeland Security. At this point, I am in disbelief. Why would the DHS have a keylogger in my laptop? It was surreal.

So I called them, and they told me to submit a Freedom of Information Act request. This is what I got back:

Under the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) the only items exempt from public disclosure are items relating to “law enforcement tools and techniques” and “items relating to national security.”

I am not certain how long this information will be permitted to remain online for all the world to see before the government takes some type of action to attempt to have it removed from public view. I URGE you to take copy of this page immediately and spread this information to everyone you know immediately! The more people who find out about this, the more can protect themselves and raise a HUGE outcry to force government and computer manufacturers to immediately CEASE installing these devices in new computers!

Jacqueline you and I think alot alike. the kids who are doing this could be
finding the cures to diseases; or opening newer faster ways to access data.
    instead they act like turds.

I hope the punishment they get also includes NO Access to the internet EVER
    AGAIN.

Kudos to Bluehost for going to extreme lengths to catch a rat and also help their customers sleep a little better at night. At least they're trying to stay on alert for the smarty pants who choose to use their brain to create chaos rather than to brave new frontiers in science, technology or medicine, which can BENEFIT us all. As to the privacy issue, I just wonder what kind of world my beautiful little niece will eventually inherit. Mama Asid, thanks for all you do to keep us informed about the snakes in the grass as well as the ones lurking around our computers.

I wonder how long they've been installing these chips? I've only had my laptop a couple years but according to the specs it was built in '06…

  4. Wow…you have got to be kidding me! Well, that poses a problem for those of us thinking of upgrading our computers this year. Is nothing safe anymore?

Yes. I'm with Bluehost right now, so I thought it was pretty interesting when I had to redo my password on demand, so to speak.

did you notice there was no explaination for any of the security changes. they sent a letter saying you had to change your password only. nothing else.

You are Right Lisa. unless you are green and do your own upgrade. I’ve been doing that for a while now and I’m only buying machines that are barebones and I can see what’s inside the box, before I drop my peripherals in. just did that at the begining of the year. got a barebones box from canada – that had been in canadian business use so I know it was empty of bugs. then after reading this, I checked it again to be sure and sure enough, I’m clean.

    Thank God for That..

Ruth from what I’ve been able to find out, it’s been since about 2001. yepper. they came in with the advent of the clipper chip. only thing is that major retailers weren’t aware of the backside uses. the other thing is that most machines come with software to allow third parties to snoop on your machine in tech support. that’s what comes on most machines if you are running a stock windows os; and now it’s been enabled with this piece of hardware to be gov. friendly. it’s astounding how sneaky they’ve gotten. and to think the hackers are using their improvements to hack better.

talk about a rat biting it’s tail.

This is so serious and I have a feeling none of it will end, especially the hackers. Consider that the Pentagon computers were hacked! Having the Internet is great, but it is also shrinking the globe. People can enter the home of your computer like an an unwelcome guest. The best we can do is have the strongest virus and spam protection out there and to keep up with those “updates.”
