WTF QVC – Ever wonder what makes a big company so stupid ?

Okay many of you don’t know that I am addicted to SHOES. yesss I have a shoe thang. and yes I do have favorites too. like those lil hot mamas up above. you must remember that I’m a woman of a certain Age and Size; and Reputation. so I can only get away with so much in the fashion dept.

I love Good Shoes. I don’t wear cheap shoes, unless they are a part of a costume; like those Limo Shoes,, yeah I got some bad ones too – like my favorite Leopardskin Suede PhuckmePumps. these have been worn a total of four times so far in 5 years. never ever on concrete baby.. oh no ! (shootin a wicked side eye at myself - that is SO NOT Fabulousa and destructive to the shoes) concrete and leather are not friends, and my shoes have leather bottoms usually. that makes them soft, and they last if you care for them. so you may be wondering how I get around in them… well just use your imagination for that one, while you look at the shoes.. yeahhh. sometimes they do travel in a bag to the venue, sometimes they are carried by someone ; ) – co’mon we’re all adults, don’t act like you’ve never been carried.
How about these chocolate silk ribboned stillettos, which have seen alot of action – on carpet baby. they’ve probably been worn maybe three times. once with a chocolate silk cocktail 2 pc; to a party in Miami a couple years ago. then I wore them to church with my Big Sis one sunday with a chocolate linen 2 pc. yeah that was hot and I did wear gloves and a hat. Us Southern Girls Love Rockin Hats Baby !

the last time I remember putting them on, was for a special dinner one nite… uh huh just the shoes against the miami sunset.. nuffsaid;
(if you look closely there’s a pic in the monitor, which is one of the screensavers from a collection created by one of my foot worshipers). yes I put my feet online and people like to see em; go peek here
I picked these up at some of my favorite *pick me up spots, where they sell inexpensive shoes, that are meant for costuming; and one time wear, or as a part of an outfit for a special occasion. you know “Limo-Shoes”. I can sniff out a shoe store, anywhere – and heaven forbid theres’ a sale, cause I’m gonna get something.
*(most folks buy chocolate; I buy shoes. they last longer and give much more enjoyment when applied properly. I am a shoe mistress after-all)
Anyway this all started because I wanted these bad brown crocodile Clarks Bendables Leather & Croco Embossed Side Zipper Shooties. yeah,, say that twice I dare ya. to be more honest, hubby suggested I order them when he ordered several pairs for himself about a month ago. yes My Man gives me shoes.. anytime I want them, and so I picked these clark shoeties out. they were perfect for my brand new brown prada bag… ohhhh baby ! it’s fall
I found them on the horror of places; on sale – or so I thought. yeah,

Today I called QVC - Yeah the homeshopping network. they are just plain the worst company I think I’ve ever dealt with customer service wise. they lie, they don’t follow up; and they gouge you on shipping.
Below this paragraph is a note I sent to them today after I called them twice about a shoe return; that they by the way are going to ship, to the same house, seperately on the same da; and charge me TWICE Again – WTF QVC ?
OOOOOOO QVC, You Bishes don messed with the wrong letter writer now babies,
I am sorely disappointed in your service and mostly your delivery methods.
Your Customer Service Agents do not take a moment to ask about delivery instructions when there are multiple items in a single order. they don’t even inform you that you will be charged three seperate charges for a shipment that will be delivered the same day, on the same truck by the same company.
that is just plain pirate logic.
to ship three items, purchased from the same vendor, coming to the same address, ordered and paid for at the same time – Seperately is absolutely Disgraceful.
can you imagine what you company’s carbon footprint looks like – Well maybe we will help everyone out and do a Lil analysis and submit it to the public – to decide if shopping AT A CARBON DRAGON IS GOOD FOR THE PLANET WE ALL LIVE ON.
You may have good prices occassionally; but you are the dumbist company I have ever seen in customer delivery areas. on returns, if an item that is reordered is not available – why do you NOT contact the customer by email to allow them a chance to know what will or won’t be happening, within two weeks ? mind you this is after a phonecall to your company to get a replacement return label for the one that was not included – and to place a replacement order; which was confirmed in stock and ready to ship on arrival of my return ?
why does your customer service staff take so long to help with simple requests, like ship all parts of my order together – and if it’s being delivered to the same house, on the same truck – why are you charging by the piece as a seperate shipment ?
that is absolutly the wrong way to do business or to retain customers. I will certainly think twice about even watching your channel again, or ever spending one moment looking at your website, or purchasing anything from A Company Who SO HATES THEIR SHOPPERS.
(end of my note to qvc – and yes the bishes sent me an instant autoreply saying they got my mail and would be cheerfully getting back to me)
Okay enough with the Shoe Wars, My Advice is Just Don’t Patronize a Company who HATES IT’S CUSTOMERS, AND THE PLANET LIKE Q V C.
QVC SUCKS,

Remember I am an Accessories Designer – did you forget I am the original queen of Cigar Box Purses ? I still own the group, and put out the most accessed and used FAQ and How To Do It – in the history of cigarbox purse making. yeah I’m that bish.
but anyway,, I digress – I just picked up a Brown Faux Croco Prada Doctors Bag and the phattest Black Patent Leather D&G Hobo, YESSSS !!!!
So as you can see, this phat girl is ret for the fall, and I’m gonna have to buss me some bad ass black patent leather thigh highs, real quick.

For the most part customer service is dead, it's so sad, but that's the way it is. One exception is Zappos.com, where I've gotten some great shoes. I don't know if they carry the caliber of shoes you're looking for, but their service is outstanding. I figured that you were a shoe gal when I saw your avatar on BloggersBase, great photo and great shoes.

customer service is a by gone service, alas. that’s why I guess I shop online so much – and hope for the right thing. small artists only sell so much, and I wish I could find one who does really good shoes, and for both women and men. shoe shopping is so important. those babies tell almost everything about you.

considering in the customer service end of the deal. not gonna
cut it with me. I spend four bills on three pair of shoes. yeah.
sure they were on sale. that's why I bought them. but this time
I will find them online somewhere else, before I ever order anything
from them. I just think they do this so much that people accept it.

I can't wear heels period, but I love to look at them. I use to have a thing for purses until mine got stolen and I quite carrying them. Sorry you had such a bad experience with QVC maybe they will change some of their policies. Have a fun Halloween.

I have never shopped with QVC….I do agree costumer service is something that we enjoyed and appreciated in the old days! It truly is a has been… as are many other people oriented special touches.
I can remember the first ever automated insurance agent…I yelled into the phone and said…call me back with a real person if you want my business… They did
I doubt if I would get the same attention today as the people at the call centers do not even speak English half the time. conclusion that ….that is exactly what they intended to do…hire people that they could use as a technicality to protect themselves from lousy customer service.
It seriously just does not matter where you look today…things are falling apart fast and furious. People are becoming a non priority in our world of profit mongers.
